Google Webmaster Tools renamed Google Search Console

Although you would not know it from the login screen (see the image attached) Google has re-branded Google Webmaster Tools (GWMT) to a new name Google Search Console (GSC?) after 10 years.

Google describes Google Search Console as a tool “to help make fantastic websites that our systems love showing in Google Search”.

Pay-Per-Booking Service On The Way From Genbook

TechCrunch provides information about Genbook. The company “is building a “pay-per-booking” product to allow local businesses to capture online bookings in real-time.

Google opened its public beta for Pay-Per-Action (PPA) advertising and is now permitting selected advertisers to bid on clicks and on actions according to a Business Week article.

This is what customers have been wanting for years. It will eliminate click fraud. Advertisers will be able to add parameters before they pay for a click.
