Montreal – Jan 30, 2007 – Last night I attended the official launch of the new Yahoo! Quebec web site at a great cocktail party hosted by the Editor in Chief of the site Marie-Lyse Paquin and attended by some of Quebec’s who’s who in internet.

It boasts the same features as the Yahoo ! Canada site much of which is dedicated to social networking and ease of use.

Indeed the “Buzz Yahoo !” on Y! Q (akin to the Yahoo ! Pulse) lists the top 10 searches of the month and in January it was ” Têtes à claques ” a comedic puppet show with some outrageously funny and different takes on life. The language is French slang or “joual” and can be corse, the Moose and Halloween are my favorites.
I could only see the full site with Explorer, my version of FireFox does not support all the features of the site.
